Integration Disconnections
If you ever need to turn off an integration and reintegrate, the configuration will be lost and can not be retrieved. Our suggestion is to take a screenshot of your configuration so you can reference it as you integrate again!
When an integration becomes disconnected, an email is sent to the Vitally user who initially enabled the integration. In some integrations, like Data Warehouses, you can customize the users who receive disconnection notices under the integration settings.
In addition to email notifications, Vitally displays an in-app banner when an integration requires reconnection. Admins see a banner for all disconnected integrations. Individual users see a banner if their own connected integration (such as Google or Outlook) needs to be reconnected. If multiple integrations need attention, the banner shows a count. The banner links directly to the relevant integration setup page or to the integrations catalog if there are multiple. The disconnected integrations banner can be dismissed and will reappear after 24 hours until the integration is reconnected.
For certain integrations, Vitally periodically tests connections that have been flagged as needing reconnection and automatically restores them if the connection is found to be healthy. This check runs once daily, around midnight EST. If an integration is automatically restored, no action is required. In some cases, you may receive a reconnect notification as part of this process even if the connection is subsequently restored automatically.
