Key Releases

Vitally AI Meeting Recorder [Beta]

Meet the first call recorder built especially for Customer Success, powered by AI. Sync your call data from Google Calendar into Vitally and use AI Copilot to generate smarter follow-up tasks and emails, ask AI questions about your calls, and gain deeper insights about your customers.

Currently available to Google Calendar users only. Admins can enable the AI Meeting Recorder by navigating to Settings > Meetings > Meeting Recorder. Read our documentation to learn more about how to enable the Meeting Recorder for you and your team.

Note: During the Beta period, you will have unlimited access to the Meeting Recorder.

Use Conversation Templates in AI Follow-ups

When using AI Copilot to generate a follow-up email from a Meeting, you can now specify that the AI should use a specific Conversation Template to craft the reply. AI Copilot will use that template as the foundation for the response and intelligently populate it with relevant context from your meeting transcript, including customer names, details, and other dynamic variables.

This allows you to maintain your brand voice and structure, while AI automatically personalizes content with meeting-specific details. AI Copilot follows your template structure and messaging intent, ensuring your follow-up strategy stays consistent while adapting to each unique conversation.

Currently available for rich text only (no HTML)

Additional Releases

New Widget Creation Flow

We’ve updated the creation flow for new Widgets to be more streamlined and intuitive. Now when you create a new Widget on a Dashboard, all the available Widget types are available in a single modal.

Pin Activity Properties to 360

You can now pin activity Properties, such as “Next due task” or “Most recent note” to the sidebar of your Account, Organization, and User 360 profiles, allowing you to access these important data points at a glance.

Private Project Templates

You can now create Project Templates that are set to “Private,” allowing all Vitally users to build Project Templates that only they can see and use. New Project Templates will now default to the “Private” permission level, but can be set to “Team” permissions to give anyone in your account the ability to see, edit, and use it.

Note: Projects created from a private Project Template for an Account/Organization will be visible to all users in the Vitally instance who can view that Account/Organization.

Automatic Project Selection for Task Suggestions

Whenever AI Copilot generates Task suggestions, it will automatically try to pre-select the Project of that Task based on context and participating Accounts, making it faster to assign Tasks to their relevant Project. If there is ambiguity or the AI is not 100% confident, you will be able to manually select the corresponding Project and milestone.

Conversation Column Based on First Message

We’ve added a new set of columns for Conversations that start within Vitally. These columns display details based on the first message in each Conversation. For Conversations that originate outside of Vitally, the columns will display “Not Tracked.”

Export Playbooks to CSV

From the Playbook Settings page, you can now click Download to get a CSV export of your active and paused Playbooks.

Filter More Objects on Playbook Creation

Tasks, Projects, Docs, Indicators, and Goals can be filtered by the Playbook and Playbook action that created it.

Property Name Updates

The "Churn date," "Next renewal date,” "Previous renewal date," and "First date with revenue" Properties on Accounts and Organizations have been re-labeled to be more intuitive. These property values are datetimes and will now be shown as:

  • Churn date → Churned at

  • Next renewal date → Renews at

  • Previous renewal date → Last renewed at

  • First date with revenue → First paid at

Integration Releases

View Source of Auto-Created Users

On the auto-created Users tab in Team Member Settings, you can now see the Integration Source of all auto-created Users, helping to more easily identify where a Vitally user was created from.
