Key Releases

Clone a Playbook Action or Branch

Streamline your Playbook creation by cloning actions and branches to easily duplicate the steps in an automation without rebuilding it from scratch.

Clone an entire Playbook branch — including all actions and nested sub-branches — directly from the Rule slideout. Branch cloning is smart about references: any connections within the cloned branch (e.g., jumps, wait conditions, Conversation replies) are automatically updated to point to the newly cloned actions and branches. If actions inside the cloned branch reference items outside of it, those connections are intentionally left unchanged to preserve your overall workflow structure.

This pairs with the new ability to clone individual Playbook actions as well: clone any action from the action slideout, then click an edge (+) on the canvas to place it where you need it.

Drafts in Notes, Tasks, Conversations & Custom Objects

Never lose your work in progress with new autosaved Drafts for Notes, Tasks, Conversations, and Custom Objects. Vitally will now automatically save your progress for these objects, so you can navigate away and revisit them later in the Drafts tab in the Table View for that object, or in a new tab when editing said object.

Additional Releases

Bulk Send Conversations to Users

You can now bulk send Conversations to a group of Users by clicking the checkbox in the top-left corner of a User Table View to “select all” and then choose to Start a Conversation. This makes it much easier to communicate with large groups of users at scale. (Note: This feature is only available to Admins)

Meeting Triggered Playbooks

You can now create Playbooks that are triggered by a Meeting object. This unlocks the ability to:

  • Start a Conversation with Meeting Participants

  • Create Risk Indicators based on Meetings (e.g. filter for brief includes "concerns" & end date is in the past)

  • Automatically create Tasks after a Meeting concludes

  • Update Account Traits after a meeting (e.g. Meeting held this month = yes)

Account Properties in AI Summaries

AI Summaries now incorporate key account Properties — including churn status, health score, NPS data, MRR/ARR, renewal dates, and more — for richer, more contextual insights at a glance. The full list of Properties Vitally AI will take into consideration includes:

  • First Seen

  • Last Seen

  • User Count

  • Active User Percent

  • Segments

  • Health Score

  • Health Category

  • Last Health Category

  • Last Health Category Change

  • NPS Score

  • NPS Promoter Count

  • NPS Passive Count

  • NPS Detractor Count

  • MRR

  • ARR

  • Next Renewal Date

  • Last Renewal Date

  • Churned At

  • Status

Persistent Search & Filters in Playbooks

Search and filter states on the Playbooks main table now persist in your browser. Whether you hard-refresh, navigate away and come back, or jump into a Playbook only to realize it wasn't the one you were looking for — your search and filters will be right where you left them. We've also added Clear Search and Clear Filters options for when you want to start fresh.

Improved Inline Editing for Table Views

Editable cells in Table Views are now more visible so it’s clear what can and can’t be edited. When you hover over a cell:

  • Editable cells show a light blue background and a pencil icon (click to edit, or double-click as before)

  • Ineditable cells show a grey background

Command Improvements in Rich Text Editor

The slash (/), mention (@), and variable ({}) commands in Vitally's rich text editor (Docs, Notes, Tasks, and more) now behave more intuitively:

  • Menus only open when triggered intentionally — typing something like an email address, date, or file path no longer causes them to pop up unexpectedly

  • All three menus can now be dismissed with the Escape key on your keyboard

Filter Users by Permanent Bounces

You can now filter Users by whether they have permanently bounced via Vitally Email. Permanently bounced users are automatically excluded from future sends to help maintain list quality and improve deliverability. This makes it easier to identify and manage contacts with invalid or unreachable email addresses.

Expanded "Last Updated at" Sorting, Filtering & Grouping

We've extended support for sorting, filtering, and grouping by a trait's Last Updated at value across several record types:

  • Custom Objects: track recent changes and build more dynamic reporting around Custom Object data

  • Conversations: build more in-depth reporting and track recent Conversation activity

  • Meetings: track your team’s Meeting activity

Participant Emails in Meetings Tables

You can now add Participant Emails as a column in Meetings Table Views to quickly view all participant email addresses in a single, comma-separated list. The field supports filtering, CSV export, formulas (including Account and Organization rollups), and Widget group-by for more flexible reporting.

Integration Releases

Outlook Bounce Detection

Vitally now detects bounces for outbound messages sent via Outlook. Previously, there was no visibility into whether Outlook emails had bounced — this update brings Outlook in line with existing bounce detection for other email providers.

Custom Object Support for Analytics API

The Analytics API can now ingest Custom Object instances via a new endpoint. This allows ingestion to be buffered via Kafka rather than handled synchronously, which is more reliable at scale.
