Key Releases
Playbook Run Management
You now have far more visibility and control over what your Playbooks are doing. Anywhere Playbook runs appear in Vitally — in the Playbook itself, on 360s, and now in object slide-outs — you can stop a run or undo it entirely for any reversible actions. Activity objects that kick off a Playbook also display the runs they triggered and the objects those runs created, all linked so you can easily visualize how data in Vitally is interconnected.
Open any object that triggered a Playbook (e.g. a Task, Conversation, or Custom Object) and go to the Related tab. You'll see each Playbook run it triggered, the run's status, stop and undo controls, and every object that specific run created. In this way, you can trace a Conversation to the Tasks, Projects, or Conversations it spun up and course correct right there. (Note: Some Playbook actions cannot be undone, such as Conversations sent and webhooks triggered.)
AI Copilot Improvements
We made a several key enhancements to our AI Copilot this past month to improve the experience and outputs:
Save Prompts from Copilot - When you ask Copilot to save a prompt, or to save what you just did, it creates a personal Saved Prompt right away and shows a chip so you can edit, delete, or revive it. Copilot only does this when you ask, so you can turn a useful workflow into a reusable prompt without retyping it. (Pro Tip: Try telling Copilot to “take everything we just did and turn it into a Saved Prompt that I can use later.”)
Create Goals from Copilot - Ask Copilot to draft a Goal from an existing Goal Template, which you can then review and accept without ever leaving your Copilot chat.
Rename & Delete Copilot Chats - Copilot chats now automatically generate a short, descriptive title after the first response. You can rename any chat manually and we'll never overwrite it, and you can now delete chats to keep your history tidy.
Exclude Hidden Traits from AI - Copilot and MCP now exclude Custom Traits marked as Hidden, keeping AI suggestions focused on current, relevant properties.
Grouping Copilot Suggestions - When Copilot makes several suggestions in a single chat, these are now grouped under headers so you can more easily follow its progress, especially in longer sessions.
Additional Releases
Team Member Filters Grouped by Active Status
Team member filters now group members by whether they're active, so your truly active teammates appear first in their own group. Emails also render alongside each name, so you can tell people apart at a glance.
Search Persists Across Trait Tabs
When you search for a Trait on an object's settings page, your search now sticks as you move between Trait tabs. This means you can scan across tabs without losing your place, and get to the Trait you're looking for faster.
Event Sources in Settings
Your Events settings page now shows the integration source for each Event. You can see exactly where every event is coming from, without guessing or cross-referencing another tool.
Group Conversation Bounces
When you send a group Conversation and a single recipient bounces, Vitally now surfaces exactly who it was. Previously, the only way to find a bounced recipient in a group send was to check each User one by one.
Confirmation for Bulk Task Deletion
Deleting all Tasks with the Select All checkbox now requires you to type "DESTROY" in a confirmation modal before the deletion proceeds. This safeguard prevents accidental bulk deletions across hundreds or thousands of Tasks, while individual selections keep the standard, quicker confirmation.
Edit AI Summary Widget Templates
Admins and Leaders can now edit Custom AI Summary templates straight from the AI Summary Widget's overflow menu — just click the menu and select Edit Summary.
Integration Releases
List Custom Object Instances by Account or Organization via REST API
The public REST API now supports listing Custom Object instances scoped to a specific Account or Organization, so you no longer have to list every instance and filter down. The new endpoints support the same pagination, sorting, source, and archived parameters as the existing list endpoint, and accept either Vitally UUIDs or external IDs.
Conversation External ID via REST API
You can now retrieve a Conversation's external ID over the REST API by supplying a source query parameter, matching the behavior already available for Notes and Tasks.
Instant CRM Key Role Sync from 360s
Editing a two-way or push Key Role on an Account or Organization now pushes the assignment to your CRM right away, instead of waiting on a later bulk or admin sync. Your mapped HubSpot or Salesforce field stays current the moment you make the change in Vitally.
Email Bounce Rate Alerts
With Vitally Email, you can now receive notifications when an SES bounce rate warning pauses sending, ensuring the right person is alerted and can respond quickly when an email send is paused due to a high bounce rate. This can be configured in your Integration Notifications Settings.
