Key Releases
Chat with AI Copilot & Take Action
You can now ask Vitally AI to run AI Actions via the “Ask AI” chat interface. When chatting with Vitally AI, simply instruct it to create a Conversation, Task, Note, or Custom Object for whatever it is you need.
For example, tell Vitally AI to “Draft a re-engagement Conversation using the context from this account from the last 60 days. Prioritize brevity and make it personable.” This is available to all customers within the AI Copilot tab on Account and Organization 360s, Meetings, Conversations, and Notes.
You can also now have threaded conversations with Vitally AI, asking follow-up questions or clarifications to your previous questions, chatting with AI in a more conversational format.
Share Meeting Recordings
For any Meetings recorded in Vitally using our AI Meeting Recorder or Gong, you can now share the recording and transcript with your customers and team. Click the Share button on a Meeting, then select who you’d like to share it with (any individual user, the Meeting Participants, Only Those Invited, Any Users at Related Accounts, or Anyone with the Link). The meeting recording link can then be shared in a dedicated external view along with its transcript.
AI Summary Widget
The AI Summary Widget allows you to add an AI Summary directly into a Customer 360 Dashboard, bringing these insights front and center. In any 360 Dashboard, click Add to add a new Widget, select AI Summary as the Widget type, then choose from your available Custom Summary templates (AI+ only) or the default template.
Additional Releases
Custom Trait History
View the 30-day history for any Custom Trait, allowing users to accurately track historical changes to their Traits. You can see the changed value, who or what it was changed by, and the timestamp for the update. Trait history can be viewed within any Customer 360 profile. 90-day history will be available later in Q1.
Custom Object Variables in Playbooks
When a Custom Object triggers Playbook enrollment, you can now use variables from that triggering Custom Object in a “Start Conversation” action within the same Playbook.
This means you can tailor automated messages with personalized context from Custom Objects — for example, if you have a “Risk” Custom Object, you can reference fields from this Risk object inside a Playbook Conversation.
Custom Trait Last Updated Columns & Filter
Add a “Last Updated” column to Tables and use it as a filter for any Custom Trait. Simply open up the column chooser, navigate to Traits, and use the icons next to the Trait name to select either the field value or the last updated timestamp.
This means you can now create filters and rules based on when a Custom Trait’s value changed, allowing more granular insights and powerful reporting. For example, create a Widget of any Accounts that haven’t had a “CSM Pulse” Trait updated within the last 30 days.
Add Participants to Meeting Tables
You can now add a “Participants” column to Table Views of Meetings and export that column to a CSV, making it easier to review participant data across Meetings.
Show Dependencies in Settings
A new Dependencies column has been added to Settings tables. It shows where each item is currently used across Vitally. If an item has dependencies, you won’t be able to delete it—this prevents breaking Playbooks, Health Scores, and other critical objects.
Click any dependency to jump directly to where it’s used, so you can edit or replace it. Once all dependencies are resolved, the item can be safely deleted. This makes it easier to clean up your Vitally instance without accidentally breaking things.
Recipient Emails Addresses
We now display recipient email addresses when starting a Conversation, editing a Pending Conversation, and previewing a Conversation. In cases where you have multiple Vitally records for a single user, you can now differentiate between them with their email addresses.
Playbook Analytics: Improved Run Reporting
When viewing all runs in a Playbook, each action node will display additional metrics:
Runs Started - On the trigger node, view the total number of runs that have entered the Playbook, including runs that are no longer enrolled.
Runs Completed - On action nodes, see the number of runs that completed each action, alongside a percentage relative to total runs started.
Runs Waiting - On “Wait” nodes, view the number of runs currently waiting at this step of the Playbook.
New Blueprint: Risk & Escalation
The Risk Process Blueprint enables teams to identify, categorize, and track risk in a structured way, helping them resolve issues efficiently while maintaining a historical record to uncover broader trends. It includes a Risk Custom Object, Risk Playbook, Goal Template, Dashboard, Table, and Board Views, and more.
Export Playbook History
You can now export Playbook run history in two ways:
Export All Runs - export the full set of runs across all history tabs
Export Current List of Runs - export only the runs currently displayed on the selected history tab (In Progress, Completed, Stopped), respecting any filters
Integration Releases
Multiple Intercom Integrations
We now support connecting multiple Intercom integrations to Vitally.
Note & Task Source for REST API
Notes and Tasks created via the REST API now accept an optional “source” parameter to display any integration name (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.), allowing for greater visibility to filter Notes and Tasks by source and allow lookup by external ID when passing source.
