Key Releases
Improved Playbook Run Metrics
We’ve further enhanced Playbooks analytics to provide greater transparency, ease of troubleshooting, and a better overall Playbook workflow:
View the list of Playbook-created objects directly inside the Playbook builder.
View “Stopped While Waiting” counts on “Wait” action nodes, which represents the number of enrollees who exited the Playbook while at a specific “Wait” action.
When run history is filtered to a specific action, run progress is now shown relative to that action rather than the overall Playbook run:
Active: runs currently at the selected action (applicable only to “Wait” actions)
Completed: runs that have completed the selected action
Stopped: runs that stopped at the selected action (applicable only to “Wait” actions)
Meeting Participant Reporting & Meeting Widget Improvements
We've added support for better reporting on Meeting Participants to understand the impact of Meetings on your day-to-day operations and improve visibility into where your team is investing time:
Meeting Participants column: This is added by default to all Meeting Tables and shows their attendance status for the meeting. If the user is present in Vitally, it will link their User record. If not, it will display as an email.
Meeting Participants Filter: This allows you to filter based on the Users and emails in this column. It also opens up this column for use in other places, like Widgets.
Group by Account/Org Traits in Meeting Widgets: This allows you to display Meetings grouped by Account and Organization Traits, such as Key Role.
Additional Releases
Search Traits in Settings
A new search bar has been added to the Traits Settings pages, allowing you to search for Custom Traits by their name or key, with results filtering in real-time. (Note: This search currently does not work across integration sections for Account/Org/User Traits)
Meetings in Global Search
You can now easily find the Meetings you’re looking for directly from the global search modal, and filter by Meetings only in the same search.
Projects & Project Template Improvements
Projects and Project Templates have received a handful of improvements so that you can better define your Project views and ensure everyone on your team sees the same view:
Specify the default Task Status for Tasks created from a Project Template
Define the default view for a Project created from a template in the template itself.
In the Project Template, select default Task Traits to be visible in the created Project. Task Trait cells in the Project Template view can also be edited inline in the Tasks Table, which edits the default value for that Trait in the Task that gets created.
Projects created from a Project Template will now have their default view set to our current default view, but with any Task Traits added to the Project Template added as the last columns to the default view.
If you make changes to the Project's columns or filters, you will now see a button to save your changes to this view. This works like views now - there's your 'local' version and a 'saved' version everyone sees. As long as you can edit the Project, then you can save your local view to be the saved view everyone sees.
Data & Configuration Dashboard Blueprint
This Blueprint gives you a high-level snapshot of how your data is structured and configured in Vitally. It surfaces key metrics like account volume, revenue, user counts, health distribution, etc. so you can quickly validate that your configuration reflects your real-world business.
Alt Text for Images
Images in Docs, Notes, and other rich text fields in Vitally now support alt text for improved accessibility. When sharing a Vitally Doc externally with a customer who uses a screen reader, you can now be sure your images are accessible and meet compliance standards like WCAG.
Past & Future Date Filters
We have added two additional date filter options which allow you to create filters based on the current time, not just the current calendar day:
In the Past
In the Future
"Current User" Filter in Calendar Views
You can now utilize the “Current User” option when setting up filters for Calendar Views. This allows for dynamic filtering of calendar events based on the logged-in user’s assigned roles (e.g., “CSM is Current User” or “Assignee is Current User”).
“Last Updated at” Note, Project & Task Traits
You can now sort and filter Note Traits, Project Traits, and Task Traits based on when they were last updated. This means you can answer questions like, "Which tasks haven’t had this field updated in 30 days?” without having to rely on workarounds or manual tracking.
Use the “Last updated at” column to sort and filter Tables, group by and filter Widgets and Boards, filter in Playbook rules, or leverage in Formulas, including Account and Organization aggregation filters.
Block Delete Logic for Key Roles
The set of Playbook actions that will block the deletion of a Key Role has been expanded to include:
The “Assign Key Role” action
Starting a conversation from a Key Role
Assigning an indicator to a Key Role
Assigning Tasks/Projects to Key Role
90-Day Trait & Key Role History
We've updated Trait and Key Role history to show up to 90 days of historical data.
