Global AI Copilot is currently in private beta. If you'd like to be added, reach out to {{placeholder}}. Functionality and limits described here may change as we incorporate feedback — and we'd love to hear yours through the in-app feedback option.
What is Global Copilot?
Today's AI Copilot lives inside individual Accounts, Organizations, Conversations, Meetings, and Notes. Global Copilot takes that same assistant and scales it across your entire book of business, so you can run analysis and take action without opening a single profile first.
Global Copilot is a built-in AI assistant that can access and understand all of your Vitally data, including dynamic properties like product events and custom fields. When you start a chat, it searches across every available property, decides what's relevant to your prompt, and builds the right query on its own — applying filters and sorting, and pulling only the relevant information into context.
In practice, that means Global Copilot can do anything you can already do with Views, across every supported object. It can also combine data across objects, pulling from more than one at a time to answer a single question.
Reach for Global Copilot when you want to:
Run analysis on multiple accounts at the same time
Gather insights across your entire customer base, like health score or revenue trends
Surface churn risk and expansion opportunities hiding in unstructured data
Research accounts and industries using recent information from the web

How to access Global Copilot
Open Global Copilot from the AI Copilot button in the main lefthand navigation.
From there you'll land on a full-page workspace with direct access to your recent global chats, AI Memories, and Saved Prompts. Chat names appear in the navigation by default; hover over any chat to reveal its timestamp. Your chat happens in the main content area, so you have room to read responses, review citations, and keep working.
Getting started
The best way to learn what's possible is to start chatting. Ask Global Copilot what it can do, how it might solve a specific problem, or why a particular prompt didn't return what you expected — it can explain its own reasoning and limits.
A few prompts to get you going:
Morning brief: "Look at my meetings for today, gather context on each customer, and write me a concise morning brief to start the day."
End-of-day wrap-up: "Review my meetings and their transcripts from today, pull in relevant context for each customer, and draft a follow-up email for each one."
Re-engagement opportunities: "List the accounts that have had no meaningful touchpoints in the last 45 days, including last contact details, renewal date, and any open escalations."
Because Global Copilot knows your Vitally user ID by default, prompts about your own work — like "Who are my top accounts?" — resolve without extra lookups, which keeps responses faster.
Each answer ends with a suggested next step and one or two alternatives, so you can choose where to take the conversation next.
Following Copilot's reasoning
While Global Copilot works through a question, its reasoning streams into the working section next to the tool calls it runs. The section shows the last few lines by default. Click it to expand the full reasoning. This makes it easier to see why Copilot took a particular action and to spot where a run went off track.
Working from a table view
You can point Global Copilot at an existing table view or hub instead of describing its filters in chat. Paste the view's URL into your prompt, and Copilot reads the view's name, filters, sort order, and tab, then searches the same set of records you see in Vitally. Browser URLs, vitally:// links, and bare paths all work.
Copilot only reads views you have permission to open. If a view is missing or you can't access it, Copilot tells you so and doesn't guess at the filters.
Relative date filters such as "this quarter," "last month," or "today" carry over from the view. They are calculated with your fiscal calendar, the same way they work in Explorer.
Example: "Look at the accounts in [table view URL] and flag any renewing in the next 60 days with no meeting logged this quarter."
Creating Notes and Conversations
You can create Notes and Conversations directly from Global Copilot, without navigating to a profile first. The flow matches what you already know from the Account and Organization Copilots, and a template picker lets you search for and apply a Conversation Template by name.
This opens up workflows like:
Creating a customer-specific Note or Conversation from a single entry point
Turning analysis from Global Copilot into a Note attached to a specific Account or Organization
Bulk-drafting Conversations or Notes across multiple accounts from one prompt
Example: "Find accounts renewing in the next 30 days and draft a check-in email for the highest-risk one using the renewal template."
Heads up on bulk actions. When you ask Global Copilot to draft across many accounts at once, there's no stop button yet — so be intentional with prompts that fan out across your book of business.
Updating records
Global Copilot can suggest changes to existing Tasks, Notes, and Custom Object records, and can assign Key Roles on Accounts and Organizations. Ask in plain language and each proposed change shows up on a review card, so you can check everything before it's applied. One prompt can update several records at once.
Copilot can change custom traits, including custom traits on Custom Object records, plus these built-in fields:
Tasks: Name, Assignee, Due on, Status, Category, Completed on, and the Account or Organization the task belongs to
Notes: Name, Note date, Category, Tags, and the Account or Organization the note belongs to
Custom Objects: Name, Owner, and the Accounts and Organizations the record is linked to (a record can be linked to several)
Copilot can assign Customer Success Manager, Account Executive, or any custom Key Role. The review card shows the teammate Copilot picked, and you can choose someone else before accepting. Accepting works the same as assigning the role yourself, so assignment emails and Playbooks run as usual.
Example prompts:
"Push the Acme kickoff task to Friday and assign it to Dana."
"Move my note from today's Acme call to Globex."
"Add Chase to the Dark mode request."
"Make Dana the CSM for Acme and Globex."
Analyzing several records at once
When you ask Global Copilot to run the same task across multiple records, it can hand the work to sub-agents. Each sub-agent takes one record and works on it independently, and they all run in parallel. Copilot then combines the results into one summary that includes each record's findings.
Sub-agents work with Accounts, Organizations, Meetings, Conversations, and Notes, up to 10 records per request.
While they run, each sub-agent gets a status row that updates live. Expand a row to read that sub-agent's transcript (read-only). Records that can't be accessed or don't finish are flagged in the results.
Note: Anything a sub-agent creates, such as a Note, appears only in that sub-agent's transcript and not in the main chat. Expand the sub-agent's row to find it.
Researching outside Vitally
Global Copilot can search the web. Ask it for recent news or other public information about an account, a company, or an industry. It pulls snippets from relevant web pages and summarizes what it finds. Web search also works in the Copilot on Account, Organization, and other record pages.
Example: "Find recent news about Acme and summarize anything that could affect their renewal."
Web search is on by default. Admins can turn it off for the whole workspace from Settings > Security, using the Web Search toggle in the Copilot section. When web search is off, Copilot works only with data already in Vitally.
AI Memories
Global Copilot includes AI Memories — instructions you save once and apply globally across your account. Use AI Memories to store specifics about your business, your preferences, your brand voice, and anything else you want the assistant to keep in mind. Global Copilot takes those instructions into account every time you prompt it.
Because a global memory is applied to every session across your workspace, keep them short and broadly useful. Avoid loading them up with definitions for specific traits, fields, or custom objects — that detail belongs on the field descriptions themselves (or in a Saved Prompt), where Copilot can pull it in only when it's relevant. Overloading global memories can pull Copilot's attention toward details that don't apply to the question at hand.
Saved Prompts
Saved Prompts let you keep your favorite prompts handy to reuse later. Create one for any workflow you repeat often, or whenever a Copilot session goes especially well and you want to recreate it. Saved Prompts are individual to your account and are not shared across your team.
Current limitations
Not sure what Global Copilot can do? Just ask. Type "What tools do you have available?" into a new chat and it will tell you what it's capable of.
Tool call limit: A session is capped at 100 tool calls — every individual lookup or object generated counts as one. Once you hit that limit, start a new chat to continue.
Step limit: Each question can take up to 50 steps before Copilot stops, and each sub-agent has the same limit. If you see "This question reached the maximum number of follow-ups," split the request into smaller prompts.
Churned customers: Global Copilot excludes churned customers by default. If you want them included, say so explicitly in your prompt.
Event analysis over time isn't supported yet: Copilot can read the current value of an event property on an account, but it can't yet query your full event history — so prompts like "count every AI-usage event in the last 30 days" aren't supported today. A good rule of thumb: if you could add it as a column to a View for that object, Copilot can work with it.
FAQs
How is Global Copilot different from the AI Copilot inside an Account or Meeting?
The AI Copilot inside a profile is scoped to that single object — one Account, Org, Conversation, Meeting, or Note. Global Copilot works across your whole book of business and can combine data from several objects at once to answer a single question.
What kinds of questions can it answer?
Anything you could express as a View, plus questions that span multiple objects. Good examples include "Which accounts have a health drop in the last 7 days and no logged activity?", "Which accounts renewing in the next 90 days have a health score below 60?", and "What's my average health score across my book of business?"
Why didn't my prompt return what I expected?
Ask Global Copilot directly — it can explain why a prompt didn't work and suggest how to rephrase it. Vague or heavily multi-part prompts tend to do better when broken into clearer steps.
Does Vitally use my data to train AI models?
No. Data processed through Vitally AI is not used to train AI models. It's used only to generate the output you requested. Vitally runs its AI features on AWS Bedrock, and model providers do not have access to your prompts, data, or completions, and cannot use them for training. Global Copilot falls under your existing DPA and privacy terms — no separate opt-in is required.
