Key Releases

Meet Quin! [Public Beta]

Quin (formerly Copilot) is now in public beta for all customers. Quin is Vitally’s AI assistant. You can ask it questions across your whole book of business and act on the answers without leaving the conversation.

With this release, Quin can:

  • Search the web to research accounts, companies, and industries

  • Read web pages to provide web-based context such as help center documentation

  • Update properties, including custom traits, on Customers, Organizations, Tasks, Notes, Custom Objects, and Projects

  • Suggest Key Role assignments in a review card, where you can pick a different teammate before accepting

  • Calculate counts, sums, averages, minimums, and maximums across table views

  • Read a table view from its link, including its name, filters, sort order, and object type

Accepting a Key Role suggestion works just like assigning the role yourself, including assignment emails and Playbooks. Admins can turn off Quin’s web search and web page fetching in Settings > Security.

The composer now shows how much of your usage limits you’ve used. Click the percentage to see your 5-hour and weekly limits and when they reset. When a chat is close to its context limit, you’ll get a warning early.

Copy Quin Answers With Formatting and Links

You can now copy any Quin answer with the copy button or by highlighting text. Pasting into Vitally Docs and Notes keeps citations, object links, formatting, task lists, and tables. Pasting into Google Docs, Notion, Word, Slack, or other rich-text apps keeps formatting and links. Plain-text editors get clean Markdown.

This means you can drop Quin’s answers straight into a Note, an email, or a Slack update without reformatting them or losing links to your records.

Never Record List

Admins can now add Customers and Organizations to a never record list in Settings > Meeting Recorder. The AI Meeting Recorder won’t join meetings with anyone on it. If an Organization is on the list, meetings with its Customers aren’t recorded either. Changes apply within a few minutes, and past recordings aren’t deleted.

Everyone on your team can see when a meeting won’t be recorded and why in the meetings table and in meeting details. Customer and Organization pages show a camera-off icon with who turned recording off and when. When a customer asks not to be recorded, you no longer have to remember to turn the recorder off for each meeting.

Additional Releases

Meeting Recorder Waits for You

The AI Meeting Recorder now stays in the call for the first 15 minutes, even if everyone leaves. If a customer joins and drops off before you get there, the recorder is still there when you join. After 15 minutes, it leaves once everyone’s gone.

Quin Finds Records by Name

Quin can now search records directly by name or other text, such as meeting titles, Note subjects, Account names, and teammate names or emails. Because Quin skips a step behind the scenes, common questions get answered several seconds faster.

Quin Follows Your Saved Memories for meeting Tasks

If you save a memory telling Quin to leave a Task’s description empty and use a specific trait instead, Quin now follows it when it creates follow-up Tasks.

Organization Churn on Account Churn Banners

Churn banners on Accounts now show when an Account churned because its Organization churned.

Integration Releases

Amplitude Account Names and Traits

In Amplitude settings, admins can now choose which user property sets the Account name and which other user properties are saved as Account traits. This works the same way as Segment, Mixpanel, and RudderStack. When you save, Accounts that Amplitude already created are updated too, and existing setups don’t change until an admin picks a name or traits.

Vitally Email Send Warnings

Vitally Email now asks you to confirm before sending to a large number of Users, and Account and Organization sends show a warning when the final recipient count could be large. Email settings also flag high bounce rates, list-hygiene concerns, and missing User churn rules, so you can fix them before you send.

Validation Errors on Integration Tabs

When you save a HubSpot, Salesforce, Zendesk, or Stripe configuration, any tab with a validation error now shows an error icon, even if it isn’t the tab you have open. You no longer have to click through every tab to find the problem.

Playbook ID in Conversations REST API

Conversation REST API endpoints now return the playbookId when a Playbook started the Conversation.
