Calendar View Overview

The calendar view can be used to track key engagements, such as upcoming meetings, due tasks, or notes tied to specific dates. It’s also perfect for managing schedules for specific customers or various customers.

How to Create a Calendar View

Follow these steps to create a calendar view in Vitally:

  1. Once in a 360 or in a Hub, create a View

  2. A pop up will come up with the option to select Calendar

  3. Name your Calendar View or choose from Existing Views

  4. Select Add an Object

  5. You'll see a slide out on the right where you'll name the object and add a color

  6. Select your Object

    1. Tasks

    2. Meetings

    3. Notes

    4. Projects

    5. Accounts

    6. Organizations

    7. Conversations

    8. Or Custom Objects

  7. At the Start Date and End date for the calendar view

  8. Add any filters to narrow down the results even further

  9. Select Add object to calendar at the bottom right

  10. If you want to add another object, select Add Object on the top right

    1. Repeat steps 5-7

    2. Change the color of each object to easily identify each object by color

  11. You can additionally add this view to a Hub right from the 360 by selecting the meatball menu (three dots) on the top right

    1. You can also edit the calendar details like changing the icon and name as well as the visibility. Additionally, you can delete calendar here

  12. If you need to edit the objects, select the meatball menu (three dots) next to Add object button


Using Calendar Views

  • Switching Between Views:
    Navigate between different views (e.g., list view or calendar view) by using the view selector at the top right of the view.

  • Filtering by Customer or Time Frame:
    Apply filters to focus on specific customers, dates, or object types, depending on your workflow.

  • Viewing more data:
    Click on the object in the calendar to view more data or edit (please note you can not edit meetings).
